Leah Diane (Lee) Nack, age 72, of Kendallville, passed away at her home April 9, 2024. Leah was born in Kremmling, Colorado on August 26, 1951, to the late George Willis Lee and Mildred Leah Joann (Sharp) Lee. She married Paul Eugene Rice on March 15, 1980, in Marion, Ohio. Paul preceded her in death January 14, 2000. She later married James Fredrick Nack in Kendallville on May 10, 2003. Leah was employed by LDM Technologies in Kendallville until they closed in 2012. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved craft making, tending to her flower gardens, shopping and helping others when they needed a hand. She was a Greenbay Packers or Kansas City Chiefs fan...whichever team was winning the most! Leah was deeply loved and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Son, Jeffrey and Brooke Rice of Avilla.
Son, James Thompson of Pueblo, Colorado.
Daughter, Melissa Thompson of Eldorado, Kansas.
Son, Joseph and Julie Nack of Auburn.
Son, Daymond and Laura Nack of Traverse City, Michigan.
12 grandchildren: Emma Rice and Trenton Rice both of Avilla; Brandon Thompson, Kyle Thompson, and Tyler Thompson all from Kansas; Sherri Scheuber, Hayley Sleffel, and Tara Felber all from Eldorado, Kansas; Nolan Nack and Kaden Nack both of Auburn; and Elliot Nack and Isla Nack both of Traverse City, Michigan.
Sister, Julie Manuel of Denver, Colorado.
Leah was preceded in death by her parents, George and Joann Lee; her first husband, Paul Rice; sisters, two Dorothy Fierson and Corliss Lee; and one brother, Ivan Keith Lee.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
Casket bearers will be Trenton Rice, Brandon Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Daymond Nack, and Gordon Bowen.
